Scambieuropei ETS is searching for 2 youth volunteers to participate in Artcoop: Youth art cooperation is a Humanitarian Aid ESC project that involves a total of 6 young people from Spain (2), Italy (2) and Turkey (2) in the development of socio-educational and artistic activities addressed to local communities in Chile. Volunteers will join and support during 6 month the community development activities that TECHO Internacional (hosting organisation) carries out at the different slums and marginalized areas where it works around Chile. The principal activities will be developed through communitary art to develop epowerment within the community living on shanty towns arrond Santiago de Chile. The aims will be achieved by supporting TECHO Internacional on its own socio-educational and artistic projects with youth, throughout which youth mental health is addressed. Volunteers will design and develop an artistic project that they will carry out during the whole project.

Cazare, hrană și transport

The project includes accomodation, food and transport for the volunteers. Volunteers will accomodate on TECHO instalations prepared for youth volunteers that works with the entity. This accomodation, as transportation and food are covered by CES Aid fundings and the contribution of sending organization. Volunteers will stay on the same location during all volunteer period; from the first day of their volunteer they will have accomodation prepared. Visa is also includede for the time of volunteering.

Formare pe durata activității

Participatory observation during the analysis phase of the project by volunteers and workers from TECHO. Creation of promotion group with all the agents of the project and community, to plan together the program and the activities. Develop different artistic activities on TECHO’s socio-educational program (educational, capacitive and sustainability). Regular activities with the community, and the support and follow-up by tutors. Common evaluation through promoting group, of the activities developed.

-intereseted on developing artistic and communiatary skills, working with excluded communities to empower their identity. -valued to have knowledge in socio-educational field and non formal education skills. -vocation on social themes. -valued the participation in social projects with excluded communities, youth and population. - interests related to exclusion, homan rights vulneration and motivation to learn about social realities and community art methodologies to work on empowerment. - knowledge on Spanish language
