Join us at our mission in Tunisia! You will support the project team in implementing and monitoring the project activities in Tunisia focusing on employment, local development and providing social services to internally displaced persons, migrants and refugees, supporting the management and reporting, formulating project proposals, reviewing technical reports and systematizing lessons learned, among others. You will acquire knowledge on project management and administration, planning, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and how to build relationships with different stakeholders.

Apgyvendinimas, maitinimas ir transportas

You will have the opportunity to live together with another volunteer in a shared flat. The hosting organization will cover the accommodation costs and utility bills and you will be provided with free Wi-fi a local sim card and a laptop. You will receive pocket money for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. Travel costs from your home country to the country of deployment will be covered by WeWorld. Insurance (Henner) will be activated for the whole duration of your deployment.

Mokymas veiklos laikotarpiu

You will attend a pre-departure induction which will focus on WeWorld’s work and policies, technical and thematic aspects of humanitarian aid, Safety&Security, mentoring, and practical arrangements (visa, insurance, etc). Once in the country, you will participate in an induction on the programs and your contribution to the hosting organization. We encourage you to participate in training opportunities during your deployment, online or organized by our national and international partners; you will have a small budget for external courses. You will have access to WeWorld's e-learning platform.

Dalyvio profilis

We look for a motivated person, ready to socialize and experience a different culture, fluent in French, and able to adapt and work in a team for a period from 8 months. Previous relevant experiences are considered an asset. Are you interested in project management and international cooperation? You will be supported by a line manager and a mentor that will follow up on your volunteering experience. If you face economic or other types of barriers in accessing services, employment, education and training opportunities, or live in remote areas, don´t hesitate to sign up!
