The Ankkapurha Culture Foundation is the background organization of the Anjala Youth Center. Anjala Youth Center is part of a national network of youth centers. The role of youth centers is regulated in the Youth Act. Nationwide youth centers have a non-profit and social mission to support the good life of children and young people. The centers serve primarily regional,national and international youth activities, camp and nature school activities, and youth activities promoting active citizenship and social empowerment.
