Since 2014, VUESCH gGmbh has been a non-profit organization, designer and facilitator of circus for children and young people in Berlin-Brandenburg and beyond. VUESCH gGmbh is home to Circus Zack (Berlin-Friedrichshain) and Circus Schatzinsel (Berlin-Kreuzberg), which inspire more than 400 children and young people with their daily work for circus/artistry and supplementary educational content. In addition, there are numerous regional, national and international projects.

The VUESCH gGmbH emerged from the Verein zur Überwindung der Schwerkraft e.V. (short VUESCH e.V.), which is active since the year 2000 as a platform for artists in Berlin. Located on the grounds of the RAW (Revaler Str. 99) in Berlin Friedrichshain, the VUESCH e.V. offers amateurs and professionals the opportunity to learn and train circus techniques. In this sense the VUESCH is a training space, a production site and a place of exchange. From 2001, the Zack Circus was added as a children's and youth section of the Vuesch e.V.. In 2011 the children and youth circus Schatzinsel from Berlin-Kreuzberg joined the VUESCH e.V.. Due to the steadily growing enthusiasm of the young artists, the increasing professionalization and the ever larger project scope of the children and youth area, in 2014 the VUESCH gGmbH, a separate organizational form for the young artists, was founded.
