Organizacijos aprašas

Ananda Marga Danmark is a non-profit organisation with two primary goals. 1) To help individuals achieve health, well-being and a meaningful existence through the practice of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, healthy lifestyle and positive engagement in society. 2) To help create a better world through promoting sustainability, solidarity and social justice. Our main project is Ananda Gaorii Ashram, Farm and Learning Center near Copenhagen. It is an experiential learning center focusing on yoga lifestyle, living sustainably, living in community and engaging in social service. Our main activities are: 1) hosting seminars, retreats, youth exchanges, school visits, classes and trainings 2) hosting guests who want to experience living in yoga lifestyle, living in community, growing food and living sustainably 3) promoting local solidarity and resilience through events such as food sharing, seed exchanges, concerts, cultural events, classes, lectures, etc. Our primary target groups include a) Youth suffering from health and psychological problems such as stress, loneliness and depression b) Unemployed high school and university graduates wanting to find something meaningful to do and increase their skills such as permaculture, yoga, health, communication, languages, environment, etc. c) local residents interested in making the region more sustainable and self-reliant. Ananda Marga Danmark is a member of the Global Ecovillage Network.
