“Common Sense" Youth Organization (CSYO) was established in 2006 in Sumgait, Azerbaijan. With more than 20 years of experience in youth work, the organization has 50 active members and is structured into The Board (decision-making body) and The Secretariat (executive body).

Our main goals are to:
• Promote civic responsibility and active citizenship among youth;
• Advocate for human rights, equality, and social inclusion;
• Encourage healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about harmful habits;
• Increase environmental awareness and promote nature protection;
• Support peacebuilding and conflict prevention;
• Assist schoolchildren and students in personal development.

CSYO works in diverse social, educational, and cultural fields, engaging youth, students, refugees, and IDPs. We implement both local and international projects, focusing on youth participation, environmental awareness, intercultural dialogue, human rights, and tolerance. We actively organize Erasmus+ projects (formerly Youth in Action), hosting trainings, youth exchanges, and workshops in Azerbaijan.

• Partners with various European NGOs through Erasmus+ and ESC projects

Since January 2019, CSYO has been selected as the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps Info Centre for Azerbaijan by SALTO EECA. In this role, we provide consultations for youth and organizations, organize promotional and informational activities, manage a community of youth workers and policymakers, and cooperate with SALTO EECA to promote Erasmus+ Youth and ESC opportunities in Azerbaijan.
