Our organisation is NGO "Preili for educated Latvia" (Preili izglitotai Latvijai) and we are the founder of Preili Free school (Preiļu Brīvā skola), which is an accredited educational institution. We are located in Preili, Latvia, which is a rural place of about 7000 inhabitants. NGO has been founded in 2015. Since 2015, we have grown to have 53 children (2021 April data) in pre-school and 1-6th grade school. We have 46 families involved in school activities and community directly through school activities. We have supporters and people around our school. There are many people who are involved in different activities of our organisation. There are young people who are involved in additional activities like youth exchanges or other activities.
The main aim of our organisation is to provide quality education and a growth environment in our community.
Our objectives are to provide a quality educational environment, to have an international environment that provides diversity, to strengthen European values and understanding of solidarity. Our objectives are to incorporate STEM and digital technologies into the learning process, management and communication processes.
Our main activities are providing education for children in pre-school (1,5 years to 6 years) and in first level secondary education (1st - 6th grade). Preiļi Free school provide kindergarten and primary school educated based on alternative education models as Montessori, Waldorf, outdoor education.
- Organizacija turi Europos solidarumo korpuso kokybės ženklą. Kokybės ženklu patvirtinama, kad organizacija yra pasirengusi vykdyti projektus laikydamasi Europos solidarumo korpuso principų ir tikslų.
