Kuruluşun tanımı

The European Voluntary Center is a non-profit, non-governmental, independent and apolitical association. Our association is active at local, national and European level. Since its inception, from 08 September 2010 in Bucharest, Romania, the association has carried out its activities only in order to promote volunteering. The European Volunteer Center has an 8 year experience of working with young volunteers from Romania and Europe. The team of our association is currently made up of 8 young people and 8 teachers who perform cultural and educational activities together with young people from the association in a voluntary manner. The current organization's organization has experience at European level, it has carried out projects within the Youth in Action Program, but also within the Erasmus Plus program. During this period, Romanian volunteers worked with a number of vulnerable or socially excluded young people. In this respect, it has worked with disadvantaged young people from Ilfov County to facilitate community integration and to provide prerequisites for developing as active members of the community. The Coordination Team has developed a series of local partnerships with educational institutions to increase the quality of volunteer and youth projects in Bucharest and Ilfov County. From 2013, over 5 years, our team expanded the association's activity within Ilfov County. During this period, we managed to open a European Volunteer Center in Ciorogarla Commune. He is working in the Pamfil Seicaru Technological Highschool, and European volunteers are in the high school home. At this moment, our association manages an EVS project called: Growth through education with reference number: 2017-3-RO01-KA105-047301 running from February 16, 2018 to January 15, 2020. Within this project, a number directly of 24 EVS volunteers, as well as a number of local volunteers from the local community and the European Voluntary Club of the High School. During the project activity: Grow up by education our team has actively and intensively worked with other educational institutions in Ilfov County. Two of our local partners urged us to open other volunteer centers in their localities. At this moment, our association has written requests from the "Vintila Bratianu" Technological High School - Dragomiresti Vale and the "Barbu Stirbey" Technological High School in Buftea to receive EVS volunteers to dynamize the activity in the educational units, but also to develop the young people from local communities where the new Youth and Volunteer Centers will operate. As a result, through the development of these centers, it is possible to implement new EVS projects in the communities of Dragomoresti Vale and Buftea. In this situation, our team wants to request the number increase to 14 EVS volunteers that our association can receive at the same time. We believe it is appropriate to develop new volunteer centers in as many communities as possible in Ilfov. These centers are beneficial both to the local youth community and to EVS volunteers who can communicate and interact with disadvantaged young people and develop new communication, tolerance and educational skills in new spaces and communities in Romania. At the moment our association is running a series of EVS projects in partnership with Ataturk University and a Volunteer Center in Ankara - Turkey that send EVS volunteers to meet their internship in Romania. These EVS projects carry out their activities on the basis of two components: non-formal education and information activities and the promotion of growth through education. EVS projects have an important component of learning Romance and making a cultural exchange between Turkish and Romanian volunteers. In this respect, young people in the local community taught them popular songs and local traditions, and volunteers in Turkey are showing their culture and traditions in the project. The current project proved to be a success, at the launch were the authorities from the local community in Ciorogarla represented by the mayor and the deputy mayor of the community, but also the Ilfov School Inspectorate represented by the General Inspector and the Deputy General Inspector. At the same time, there were also directors, teachers from the high schools in Ilfov.
