CVJM Deutschland / YMCA Germany (statutorily: CVJM-Gesamtverband in Deutschland e. V.) is an umbrella organisation for Christian youth work with 13 independent member organisations with approximately 1,400 local YMCAs. Cooperation in the areas of kids groups, youth, young adults, international, performing arts and sports activities takes place through conferences, consultations, initiatives, project teams, expert groups, large central staff conferences and publications. YMCA Germany coordinates and supports the cooperation of its member associations, represents the CVJM before church, state and the public on a national level and cooperates with other youth organisations. Furthermore, it organises the YMCA’s international affairs, especially within the World YMCA and YMCA Europe.
Therefore, the European Solidarity Corps and its voluntary services with its chance for young people to experience another country and culture, to get to know the work of YMCAs in other countries, to experience personal development and learning through these measures, is a perfect tool to achieve its aims according to its guidelines.

Der CVJM Deutschland (satzungsgemäß: CVJM-Gesamtverband in Deutschland e. V.) ist eine Dachverbandsorganisation für christliche Jugendarbeit mit 13 unabhängigen Mitgliedsorganisationen mit etwa 1.400 örtlichen CVJM. Die Zusammenarbeit in den Bereichen Kindergruppen, Jugend, junge Erwachsene, internationale Arbeit, TEN SING / darstellende Kunst und Sportaktivitäten findet durch Konferenzen, Konsultationen, Initiativen, Projektteams, Expertengruppen, große zentrale Mitarbeiterkonferenzen und Veröffentlichungen statt. Der CVJM Deutschland koordiniert und unterstützt die Zusammenarbeit seiner Mitgliedsverbände, vertritt den CVJM vor Kirche, Staat und Öffentlichkeit auf nationaler Ebene und arbeitet mit anderen Jugendorganisationen zusammen. Darüber hinaus organisiert er die internationalen Angelegenheiten des CVJM, insbesondere im Rahmen des World YMCA und des YMCA Europa.
Deshalb ist das Europäische Solidaritätskorps und seine Freiwilligendienste mit seiner Chance für junge Menschen, ein anderes Land und eine andere Kultur kennenzulernen, die Arbeit der CVJM in anderen Ländern kennen zu lernen, persönliche Entwicklung zu erfahren und durch diese Maßnahmen zu lernen, ein perfektes Instrument, um seine Ziele gemäß seiner Richtlinien zu erreichen.
