Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Associação de Pais e Encarregados de Educação da EB1 / JI Maria Luciana Seruca is headquartered in the Basic School located in Paço de Arcos. It is a non-profit institution founded in 1992.

Its main purpose is to ensure the protection and enforcement for rights and duties of the parents and guardians regarding the education of their children or students, taking responsibility and participating in education. It is active, seeking to ensure that the education of students takes place in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the provisions of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic.

The association is also responsible for managing the Leisure Time Centre - Centro de Tempos Livres - that works on the school in a space provided by Paço de Arcos school cluster, promoting activities in the academic and non-academic period. Its main objective is to encourage the children to a healthy living group and offer activities that promote enrichment, both culturally as playful.
