The association Inventare Insieme (onlus) was founded in December 1990 by the volunteers of the CentroTau, as a natural evolution of a training and development of the initiatives promoted in the first two years of activity. The objective of the Association is to promote processes of development of the person and of the local community through projects, initiatives and services characterized by hospitality, sharing and personal and social responsibility for the common good and participation. Over the years the association has promoted and managed numerous innovative social projects in the local, regional and national levels.
Innovative communication strategies connect audio-visual creation, artistic practices, digital technologies and new media through open and collaborative processes.
Since the beginning, Inventare Insieme (onlus) has been active in promoting opportunities for involvement and interaction in the cultural, social and educational area, encouraging the development of a local perspective. Our actions are adapted to particular circumstances from creativity and the sum of disciplines, stimulating the production of shared knowledge, driving opportunities for dialogue and generating new forms of awareness and participation.
Inventare Insieme (onlus) develops projects open to experimentation. Integrates research elements, motivates spaces of creation, production and exchange of cultural contents generating visibility mechanisms and incorporating the daily use of technology, social networks and media proximity.
Our headquarter is Centro Tau, founded in 1st March 1988, a “Factory of Futures”, a place in which, through social and cultural promotion, we support growth and citizenship paths for children, youth and adults who want to work hard to improve the quality of life and both social and personal well-being.
Centro Tau is managed by the Association “Inventare Insieme (Onlus)”, in collaboration with “Al Azis” social cooperative and the Association “I ragazzi del Centro TAU Onlus”. The Aim of Centro Tau is to promote processes of active citizenship and development in the area of “Cipressi, Ingastone and Danisinni” of Palermo. The target is to build up a “place”, a “house of education”, where children, young and adult people can “reside”, in order to “discover their own beauty, and other people’s one” and to get ready for the future enhancing the “talents”. Centro Tau is a multipurpose, welcoming, beautiful and coloured place, where we can make activities of youth work and youth aggregation, professional training, social and educational studies. A space of “moving suburbs”, totally renovated in 2010, evolving continuously, giving to many children, teens and young people a chance to learn, live new experiences and grow up.
The “Factories” of Centro Tau promote activities of guidance, school support, entertainment, sport, ICT, media education, study of languages, youth exchanges, music, cinema, theatre, dance and arts.
Since April 2014, Centro Tau is one of the “Punti Luce” of Save the Children Italia Onlus, a place where to oppose to educational poverty in suburbs.
ACTIVITY ' SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL
Since founding the association manages the Centro Tau ( youth center and family support ) in Zisa in Palermo neighborhood.
In recent years we have been implemented various social and educational intervention projects , many of them funded by the contributions provided for by Law 216 of 1991 for "actions in favor of children at risk of involvement in criminal activities ."
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
Arts, education, awareness and communication. To find the most efficient solution for a particular situation requires the implementation of creative processes, investigate the contexts, to explore the possibilities of action, generate experiences of shared analysis and facilitate exchange with the people involved and the target audience. The aim is to design tangible and effective proposals responding to the challenges.

Inventare Insieme (onlus) specializes in creating climates of creative interaction, promoting the circulation and reception of messages on the social and educational sphere. We develop participatory strategies that link information, technology and communication with artistic practices. Our creative methods are connected with social and educational interests.
