Organizācijas apraksts:

Our kindergarten is situated in a peaceful environment close to the downtown area of Debrecen, the second biggest city in Hungary. It fills us with joy and happiness to see that many parents choose our institution for their children. Currently we care for about 230 children each day. When creating our agenda, we take the age characteristics of children into consideration, as well as putting a higher emphasis on free-play activities. Other than playing, we also tell a lot of tales, sing n kindergarten rhymes and other songs, draw, craft, and introduce children to mathematics and our environment. Our institute also awarded the ’Green Kindergarten’ title. The most important duty for us is to raise environmentally conscious children. We have also adopted, and to this day, support a colony of African penguins in the local zoo. We are committed to sustainable development. Our courtyard is home to many beautiful large trees, and we also plant flowers with parents and their children two times each year. We await birds with bird feeders and nesting places. We take care of our herb garden together with the children. A vast number of programmes keeps us entertained throughout the day.
The kindergarten has been working since 1977 and it is situated on two floors with 8 groups. All the eight groups have a spacious and cosy group room, a special dressing room and a renovated bathroom. The electric energy supply is supported by solar panels. The front of the kindergarten building has been completely renewed on the basis of a national tender. Due to the support of parents, co-workers and volunteers, our kindergarten became a really multi-coloured establishment.
Unfortunately, our kindergarten does not have a gym, so we offer various exercises for children outside our building such as football at nursery, ice skating or swimming.
At our kindergarten, a dry salt therapy room can be found for the great pleasure of the parents. The kindergarten is surrounded by three great pieces of yards serving for the demand of children concerning playing and exercises.
Our institution has been awarded "Eco-friendly Kindergarten" twice as well as "Bird Friendly Kindergarten" too.
In 2015, our co-worker community was awarded „FOR THE PUBLIC EDUCATION OF DEBRECEN" title because of the high-level education at our kindergarten.
Our kindergarten received AISEC volunteers from abroad and it is open for maintaining and extending international relations. We are looking forward to hosting European Solidarity Corps volunteers at our institution.
