Descrierea organizației

Crescer Sem Risco is a Social Solidarity Association that is based in the municipality of São Vicente, Madeira Island, also having an Educational Monitoring Center in the Municipality of Ribeira Brava. We accompany about 60 Children and Young People, mostly with fewer opportunities, aged between 6 and 18 years.
However, all young people are welcome to our Association, regardless of the social/family/economic situation in which they live, because it is with them that our action makes sense, adding more wealth to our work.
We develop a wide range of activities, from pedagogical monitoring, which is carried out throughout the year, to the articulation with various entities; signaling and monitoring; participation in events, among others.
During school interruptions we have developed a wide range of activities to include all children and young people, with the purpose of showing them environments that are usually somewhat difficult to get access by themselves, either socialy or economically, which enriches their growth, knowledge and overall development.
We visit various spaces, go to the beach, film sessions, museums, gardens, workshops, we take those who obtain school success and good behaviour to our beautiful island of Porto Santo, we do diversified information/awareness sessions on various subjects of extreme interest for their growth and healthy development, developed by professionals specialized in these areas, among many other activities that characterize us.
