The Youth Cultural Center Hiša mladih Ajdovščina is a space of culture and connection, built by young people and others
through project planning, research, and constructive dialogue. Showcasing ideas on various levels involves organizing and
shaping events that Hiša mladih, in collaboration with stakeholders and connectors, brings into the local community,
ensuring a vibrant cultural scene and continuous activities throughout the year.
Main areas of operation are:
- Non-formal education and training of young people and youth workers (learning through play and sports activities, learning
through creative workshops, organizing various courses and other workshops, conducting camps and trips, conducting
youth workshops, counseling and information, various tournaments, tutoring assistance…)
- Volunteer youth work (maing goal is to improve social skills, build a positive self-image, discover one's own abilities,
reduce social exclusion and develop responsibility among youth)
- Leisure activities (social games, tournaments, creative workshops, sports activities, camps, trips, free use of the internet
and computers, literary workshops etc.)
- Education (lectures, travel lectures, consultations, round tables)
- Social prevention (preventive social welfare programs for young people)
- Information and counseling for young people
