Organizācijas apraksts:

The Alt Emporda regional council coordinates and governs education, work, the environment, social career, other activities for the towns on the region. Our area is formed by different rural municipalities and the capital is Figueres. It is the region the most municipalities (68) in Catalonia. Most are small towns and far from the capital.
The Youth Office, is in Figueres, and it is a municipal organisation for providing welcoming, information and documentation services for young people.
The department organises events designed to bring young people together, during which time the different groups from region can discuss various issues with other young people. This service is provided free of charge. One of the projects being developed by the organisation involves the use of young volunteers who want to find out about fast-growing professions through work experience in companies.
We encorage active participation by young people and their personal development for young people aged 12 to 29. Through youth work and youth policy the towns work to improve young people's living conditions and encourage the young to engage in civic activities.
The Regional Youth Action Plan is divided into four programs or strategies and fourteen different youth projects organized as follows:
- A program to Support Municipal Youth Policy
-A participation Programme and Youth Associations
-A training and Employment Program
-A school Health Program
Young people meet and do activities in the city, and also in towns. Some youth associations are active.

We are an entity that sends young people to other EU countries for volunteer projects.
