“Youth center of Georgia” was founded in 2013 as an initiative group and was officially registered in 2016. It's a non-governmental organization with the mission to promote the establishment of a modern, healthy, inclusive, and educated society, working mainly in the education field on a local and international level with different target groups. The organization serves the values of democracy, tolerance, equality, justice, and public education in the field of youth between the European standards.

MISSION AND AIM:
"Youth Center of Georgia" mission is to provide guidance, health, social, educational, vocational, and character development of youth in general through the offering of structured activities such as short and long courses, homework support, field trips, sports, training, seminars, cooperation development with underdeveloped countries.
The aims of the organization:
- To defend youth rights and freedom;
- To promote youth engagement in active social life;
- To promote volunteerism and development;
- To promote a healthy lifestyle;
- To support youth integration and assistance for their active involvement in public life;
- To assist to establish and develop democratic govern/self-govern.

TARGET GROUP:
Our target group is wide and it involves people with social, economic, geographical obstacles, with cultural differences, Refugees, IDP, ethnic and religious minorities. The organization cares for all generations regardless of their gender, age, or ethnic background, particularly promoting youth diversity and understand that young people naturally seek excitement, friendship, and support, youth empowerment through education and employment, promoting diversity through culture and new media.

PROJECT ON LOCAL LEVEL: The organization has been implementing activities on Human Rights; Education; Gender Issues; Conflict Prevention; Peace-building; Active Citizenship; Youth Participation; Ecological actions; Sportive activities; Informational intellectual, Entertainment activities; Charity events.
Nowadays the organization has on-going projects:
- English Club;
- Youth Club;
- Summer and Winter Camps for youth age 13-18 years old;
- Tours around Georgia with different target group;
- “Green” project leading by volunteers with different target group;
- Leadership Academy for youth age 15-30 years old;
- Social Enterprise “Greenhouse”;

INVOLVEMENT IN INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS:
Youth Center of Georgia has organized and taken part in more than 50 projects (youth exchanges, pieces of training, EVS/ESC) under Erasmus +
YCG carries out its activities in collaboration with organizations, universities, and associations at the national and international levels.

YCG has experience organization for creating, developing, and implementing non - formal education methods which means that for transfer knowledge and engage groups we use: artistic tools (for ex.: theater, music, painting and etc.), innovative approach, and using the technology as a medium for non - formal education (ex.: e-sport, research and etc.) and more. We are involved in the project about interculturality and international integration between different countries and cultures.

EMPLOYMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Our community is facing challenges with unemployment, like an outcome we have numbers of youth that are with few opportunities facing economical and cultural obstacles. We discover that our youth should invest their skills in cutting-edge fields like informatics, get skills in design thinking, learning about new technologies.

TECHNOLOGY: Technology is something that is happening everywhere to everyone. As an organization, we understood that with and through technology we can help, improve, and support many target groups in our community. We see it as and tool that is a partner that can help us to reach our goals as an association. We have a clear mission to get closer to technology extended group of people (young, adults). Today the knowledge in technology is the most searched hard skill in every CV.

CLIMATE CHANGES AND PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT: YCG is involved in projects and events regarding today’s cutting-edge world issue like climate change. Till now we have been part of more than 10 international projects about the protection of the environment, hosted 3 international projects about these issues, and also running the local project “Green”.

HEALTH AND SPORTS: YCG is involved in the activities to promote a healthy lifestyle and sports activities.
