Nica Youth center is local governmental organization. It is the only place in Nīca municipality where youth and children can spend their free time in non formal way. Nica youth center was founded in 2001. The target group of center is children and young people (age 9 to 25) from Nica municipality. Our main aim is to give opportunity them where to spend good time after school-in our youth center we have possibility to use ICT, play board games, make different kind of events, use gym. Also youth have opportunity to develop their creativity in different workshops. We are the coordinating organization in Nica municipality in youth work.We are interested to participate in European Voluntary Service as Hosting organization. Our motivation of participation in this program is to realize needs of volunteer, in our society and organization.

During the project volunteer can get more familiar with Latvian culture, learn about youth work in Nīca municipality, do voluntary work in our center and learn how to organize non formal education activities.
