Beschrijving van de organisatie

Brújula Intercultural is an association created in June 2017 and based in the province of Burgos (Castilla y León – Spain) with the aim of promoting mobility and learning opportunities for young people (between 13 and 35 years old). We believe that the education of young people is the tool to promote and create a sustainable society where everything and everyone is respected and for this reason we provide young people, from all countries, with opportunities to grow, develop new skills, learn and share experiences with their peers.

Citizen participation, responsibility and involvement in the social, environmental, cultural and youth field are the main characteristics of the Association “Brújula Intercultural”.

Our main activities are:
- Promoting the opportunities that Europe offers to young people, especially through the European Solidarity Corps and the Erasmus+ programme;
- Hosting and sending groups to youth exchanges and training courses promoted by the Erasmus+ programme;
- Developing educational and training activities through non-formal education methods in the province of Burgos;
- Providing support to young people for participation in volunteering projects within the European Solidarity Corps programme;
- Develop partnerships for inclusive projects addressing issues of social relevance, at local and European level;
- Development of youth projects in the rural areas in the province of Burgos.
