Aluksnes kindergarten „Spriditis” is a educational institution implementing the 3 pre-school education
programmes - a general pre-primary education programme, a special education programme for
learners with language disorders, a special educational programme for students with somatic
diseases. The kindergarten shall attend 230 children aged 1.5 to 7.
Educational institution basic aim.
Prepare the students of the basic education programme by developing the mental, physical and
social activity of each student, including thedevelopment of individual education, the capacity and the
development of talent, the strengthening of health and support for each educational initiative,
curiosity, independence and creativity in the knowledge and the surrounding world in the cultural
environment.
Educational institution basic tasks.
1. Develop a developing environment for all learners.
2. Strengthen and protect the safety and health of students.
3.Promoting the development of mental and physical capabilities, buildingan understanding and
understanding of the main natural and socialprocesses, moral, ethical and aesthetic values.
4.Ensure the development of initiative, curiosity, independence and creativity.
5. Promote interaction and cooperation.
6. Promote the formation and development of the harmonious personality of each learner.
7.Ensure psychological preparation and the acquisition of basic skillswhen starting primary
education.
8.Develop an understanding of ownership in the Latvian State, ensuring that the necessary
knowledge and democratic values can be acquired.
9. Give advice to the parents (guardians) of students
Teachers regularly participate in competitions for pre- school teachers, promoting their good practice
and preparing children for different types of competitions connected to pre-school education. For the
period 2012.-2014 we implemented the Comenius project for 12 member states “Creating the world
greener and cleaner”. Continue to maintain professional contacts with the involved pre-schools from
this project in different countries.
We have started operations in the Ecoschool programme, in 2017, we got the name of Ecoschool.
Actively cooperating with Aluksnes and Apes municipality non-governmental organisation (Alūksnes
nevalstisko organizāciju centrs), supporting the realisation of various projects. Successful
cooperation with the Aluksne children and the youth Centre (Alūksnes bērnu un jauniešu
centrs),other local authorities has been established. For the period 2017-2019, we have been involved in the
municipality project “Live healthy in Aluksne district”,where our mission to organise the sports day of
the municipalityfamilies. During the 2017/2018 school year, the teacher has been included in the
international Ekoschools project in the Latvian delegation in Prague, which will present the main
achievements.
