World Youth Alliance Austria – Jugendhilfe Verein (WJA Austria JV ) is part of a global coalition of about 300.000 young people in Europe committed to promoting the dignity of the person as the foundation of every human right and building solidarity among young people from developed and developing nations.

WJA Austria JV is a youth led organisation meaning that all members are under the age of 30. This coalition of youth aims at building a global network of young people and promoting the dignity of the person through culture, education and advocacy.

The goals of the WJA Austria JV are:
- The promotion of human dignity at local, national and international level.
- To work to build the solidarity between developed and developing countries and free societies and just through the culture of life.
- Promotion of a social climate in favour of integral development, solidarity and mutual respect between people
- Support and promote the mission of the World Youth Alliance in Austria, which is to develop activities for the promotion and the defence of the human person with policy, education and culture at the United Nations, and international, regional and local levels
- To provide information and support services for young people and other people dedicated to this purposes in Austria; Coordinate and facilitate communication in Austria
- Implement all the necessary, convenient and subsidiary activities to accomplish these goals always within the framework of the Law

For fulfilling these goals the following activities will be implemented in WJA Austria JV:
- Public promotion of the human dignity with public presentations, articles, declarations, white papers and analysis on the monthly level
- Conducting different educational programs - training, conferences and classes for the youth as the main target group few times per year
- Organization of Forums on the topics related to the human dignity and human rights few times per year
- Cultural programs like art forums and concerts that are promoting the human dignity and raising awareness among the artist and art lovers about the importance of their work
- and other similar activities for youth.

  • This organisation is accredited to run projects under Erasmus+ Volunteering and the European Solidarity Corps.
  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
