Descrierea organizației

Our organisation (AME) is a municipal activity with seven employees, which works to ensure that job-seekers are approaching the labor market and their own livelihood, breaking exclusion and strengthening the individual's belief in themselves.
We also offer employment places for people from eg the county council, the functional support unit and others, and is responsible for the appointment of the municipality's holiday worker.
AME works, among other things, on behalf of the employment service, the individual and family care, the social insurance office, the functional support unit.

The Labor Market Unit's main purpose is for the individual to approach the labor market and his / her own livelihood. Another part of the work is that the individuals receive personal development, self-confidence and a sense of participation. The Government's labor market policy, the labor market situation and the target group of job seekers are constantly changing. In order for AME to work successfully, we strive to develop existing initiatives, innovative labor market measures, information, collaboration and competence development.


Target group:
All persons in the municipality of Storfors who are outside the labor market and their own livelihood and who need support and collaboration to move on.

The labor market unit's workstations form an important part of the business and they are of great importance for the fulfillment of the goals of the business plan. Brief description of the workstations:

Snicken / assignment - Lighter woodwork, restoration of furniture, new production etc. Assignments of both simple and complex character from other municipal units
Second-hand shop - Sales of goods to the public where the surplus is shared between charity work and NGO in the municipality of Storfors (which carries out children and youth activities)
Creative workshop - Simpler manufacturing, sewing, on assignment or for sale
Kitchen - Small-scale kitchen for cooking food
The house / outdoor environment - Care of the building, cleaning and simple janitorials and cultivation, lawn mowing and more.
