Shokkin Group International is a youth organization composed of youth workers, youth leaders, youth organizations and young people around Europe. The organization was founded in April 2015 in Tallinn, Estonia as a result of strong international bonds and cooperation history between youth organizations. Shokkin Group International works in the youth field and contributes to development of training and non-formal learning activities, methods and youth work in general. The organization uses non-formal learning methodology to create and deliver local and international workshops, training courses, conferences. We also work to create educational materials based on our experience and experience of various youth organizations around Europe.

The organization equips youth workers and youth leaders with innovative methods, materials and hands-on experience in using non-formal learning methods, outdoor educational activities, international youth activities, volunteering structures and organizational management tools. Thus, we contribute to development of high quality materials to be used in the youth work field and the field of education. The organization has experience in developing and delivering youth programs, trainings for youth and youth workers on the topics of gamification and game development, organizational development, employability and youth entrepreneurship, outdoor education and creativity, mentoring & coaching, soft skill development, bridging the gap between non-formal and formal education.

SGI values partnership and international cooperation, which laid the basis for creating the organization. Since 2015 Shokkin Group International is closely working with the Youth Department of Tallinn & with Tallinn Central Youth Centre implementing various training programmes for youth workers and young people. Regular activities of the organization include: development and testing of educational games, facilitation of board games, implementation of international youth camps, design and testing of non-formal learning tools, board game design, manual design, informing the international community about youth work and youth related issues, leading discussions on the topic of active citizenship. Shokkin Group International network follows the codes of conduct, quality and ethical standards developed and agreed by the international board of the network as well as its internal development plan. The standards ensure quality preparation, implementation and evaluation of activities connected to international projects.

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
