Governorship of Malatya is a national public administrative state body in Malatya. Malatya has been the province as a result of Article 89. the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey on 20th April, 1924. Malatya Government House, which consists of 3 floors and 1 basement, located in İstiklal Neighborhood within the borders of Battalgazi district in a central position of the city, was registered as a monument by the decision of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Regional Council of Sivas Conservation of Cultural and Natural Assets on 02.11.2009. has been taken under. It manages and coordinates all the public services such as security, health, education, culture and social services. The European Union and Foreign Affairs Office was established on 4 August 2010 by the decision of the Governorship of Malatya.The EU and Foreign Affairs Office, which is a sub-unit of Malatya Governorship works with the aim to increase awareness on the EU accession period in our region and Turkey. The office develops adult education, culture, social inclusion, and other social subjects. As a governmental organization it also provides free guidance and counseling services for organizations working on youth, women and adult education, inclusion and empowerment of disadvantaged groups. Our unit is also responsible for fulfilling its duties and transactions as Malatya in the process of becoming a full member of the European Union. We have adequate capacity to successfully deliver Erasmus+ projects and administer them in accordance with the grant agreement with the Turkish National Agency and the programme guide published by the European Commission.

As Malatya Governorship, we do not make any age restriction and gender discrimination in our activities and projects. However, we would like to state that we give priority to disadvantaged groups in these activities and projects. In addition, we prioritize basic concepts such as education, youth and sports, entrepreneurship, employment, social inclusion, human rights, animal rights, democracy, solidarity and European citizenship in our activities and projects.
