Jazdecký klub Klokočina o.z. was founded in June 2018. Since its foundation, it has provided clients with hippotherapy and horse riding lessons. An integral part of our activities is the care of horses. The area, where Jazdecký klub Klokočina o.z. carrying out its activities has an area of more than 60 000 m2. In the area there is a covered equestrian hall of 1500 m2, facilities for riders, visitors and staff (dressing rooms, sanitary facilities, buffet, stocks, ...), facilities for horses, pastures for horses. In the area of Jazdecký klub Klokočina o.z. is also a mini farm where we breed mini-goats, mini-sheep, mini-rabbits, llama, mini-horses Falabella - the world's smallest horses that come from Argentina.
Jazdecký klub Klokočina o.z. is located in the recreation area Zemplinska Širava. The riding area is mostly visited by children and young people aged 6-15 years. In the summer months we organize summer camps for children focused on environmentalism and horse riding lessons. By the end of 2020, we plan to build a pond for sport fishing.
Jazdecký klub Klokočina o.z. offers professional hippotherapy services. Our main clients are children with autism from Private Primary School and Kindergarten in Klokočov. Hippotherapy services are also used by children and adults with health problems resulting from a sedentary lifestyle.
Our premises are used by primary school pupils and teachers to combine the teaching process with practical demonstrations of life in nature, environmental education and sports education.
The Zemplínska Šírava region and the surrounding countryside offer opportunities for recreation and trips to nature, on horses, bicycles or walking (Morské oko lake, Snina Stone, Tokaj Vineyards, Poloniny, ...)

We offer volunteer work for horses, where they can gain knowledge of working with horses, such as cleaning, nursing, feeding, guiding horses, working in raising young horses. They can also learn or improve their horseback riding both in equestrian hall and in nature. We also offer work in horse riding lessons, as well as a therapist assistant in hippotherapy. Volunteers can also engage in other activities related to the operation of our premises, such as feeding animals, maintaining pastures, repairing and maintaining pastures, ...
