CHALLEDU is a non-profit, non-governmental organization. that pioneers new models of learning, inclusion and engagement through game-solutions.
Our team consists of project managers, researchers, educators, game designers, developers, graphic designers and facilitators who design and implement playful experiences, games, formal and non-formal educational programs, platforms and applications based on cross-sectoral, interdisciplinary approaches, as a response to fundamental social, educational and environmental challenges.

Our aim is to empower vulnerable and non vulnerable group of people to:
-build an inclusive community of shared responsibilities and mutual support
-enhance their skills regardless their culture, abilities and age
-become active for the environmental protection and sustainable development
-take initiatives and embrace solidarity

More specifically regarding young people we ΑΙΜ to:
-empower their skills, creativity, initiative, solidarity through education
-inspire, empower and energize them to achieve the vision for a peaceful, sustainable, inclusive and multicultural Europe
-bridge the gap due to different abilities, origins, language, culture and religion
-promote their active citizenship and equal participation in the society and community regardless their gender, and economic, social, religious, cultural, national background
-reduce discrimination, racial disparities and marginalization in all aspects of society (education, lifelong learning, health, civic participation)
-promote equal representation of men and women in decision-making processes in all sectors of society and business
-empower solidarity and volunteer contribution
-reduce unemployment and increase their employability through education, practical experience and skill improvement
-empower and defend their rights and needs through participation in the democratic and political processes
-contribute to the development of the common European identity through the engagement of opportunities provided by the EU
-engage them with the environmental protection and promotion of green growth and blue growth
-support them through the modernization of teaching and development of new technologies and games for this scope
-support cross culture communication and people belonging to minorities.
-create new partnerships with European stakeholders, organizations, universities etc to achieve diversity, solidarity, innovation, creativity, compassion
-provide a space for young people where they express their needs and concerns regarding the future of the world
-advocate towards the human rights, Sustainable development goals (SDGs), gender equality, multicultural communities, fair and equal society, pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality prevail
-train, support and empower the members of our local and international networks through exchange of information, experience and ideas
-innovate and promote the power of education, arts, games, music and sports

To achieve these aims CHALLEDU has an ongoing collaboration with the leading Universities, research centers, educational institutions, SMEs and NGOs in Europe for the development of projects, games, trainings and educational material.

Our MAIN TARGET GROUPS are Young people, especially NEETS, youth trainers and youth workers

ACTIVITIES
- train young people in entrepreneurship, advocacy and solidarity in order to increase their skills and employability
- develop and support initiatives that empower active citizenship, civic participation, inclusion, gender equality, integration of youth
- organize workshops, festivals, dialogs, advocacy campaigns with young people towards decision makers and general public
- exchange of information, good practices, experiences, tools and ideas that empower youth, in national and European level
- collaborate with stakeholders and youth groups to promote game solutions, technology, research and creativity for the modernization of teaching
- participate and lead European projects (Erasmus+) focusing on enhancing youth skills, empowering inclusion, human right and gender equality
- develop methodologies, tools, events, publications, seminars, etc of non-formal education promoting education, economic and social development, social entrepreneurship, vocational education, training, intergenerational collaboration, inclusion and intergration.
- provide hosting, mentor-ship, internships to young people through the ErasmusIntern platform (for Europe)and ATLAS platform (for Greece)

CHALLEDU has built a network of national and European collaborators over the years, which will be valuable for the next steps in ESC application. It has also initiated and implemented national and EU projects and internships for youth, both as partner and leader. It has the experience and know-how to successfully manage such projects from their initial stage to their completion.
