The program of the Association is to create conditions for the realization of wider social common interests during the realization of its activity.
The basic program work that the Association will accomplish in its work are:
- Raising public awareness about the existence of people with special needs and their basic rights, needs and obligations as equal citizens of RSM;
- Providing appropriate conditions for early intervention, rehabilitation and inclusion for every child with special needs by delivering information to the network across the country that treats the problems of these children / adults and how to access them;
- Informing about the new world methods in the field of early intervention, rehabilitation and inclusion of these people;
- Education of parents, family and others for the needs of these people in order to provide better and more humane treatment;
- Overcoming prejudices about the potential of these people in educational institutions, psychologists / psychiatrists and the general population. They are equally valuable and unique human beings who have great potential and who deserve a chance at a better life;
- Establishment of a legal obligation of kindergartens and schools to open the doors for children with special needs, whose upbringing and education would take place with additional assistance by an appropriate professional staff (special educator, psychologist);
- Building the responsibility of the whole community towards these people and initiating the awareness that their most essential "healing" or turning into an equal member of the community directly depends on all of us, through community projects and involving as many people as possible in initiatives and actions . People with and without special needs would participate in these projects;
-Keeping records and monitoring the number and condition of people with special needs in the Republic of North Macedonia in different ethnic, social and religious contexts, research and analysis of the situation in the Republic of North Macedonia and other countries in the world for the ways to promote the position of people with disabilities in society;
-Linking and cooperating with other centers, associations and organizations, as well as with individuals who can contribute to equal treatment of people with disabilities;
- Establishing cooperation with institutions for improving the treatment and efficiency in the implementation of the rights of persons with special needs;
- Implementing activities to improve the quality of life of adults and children with special needs.
- Social-educational work with children and youth in cooperation with the competent institutions;
-Organizing health-educational activities;
-Organizing cultural-educational and recreational activities;
-To encourage voluntary work in the field of social assistance, assistance to young people and families;
- Domestic and international cooperation with related organizations, institutions and associations of the same or similar type that work on finding partners and donors to implement projects in the
field of human rights with special needs that would work together on the preparation, development and implementation of international projects and joint financial cooperation with a foreign partner or organizations in the field of international projects.
-Advisory work in cooperation with the competent institutions;
-Working with people with behavioral problems, in cooperation with the competent institutions;
-Improving the living condition by satisfying the primary life needs, especially in terms of education
-providing assistance and support to people with disabilities, their families and the institutions where these people live or stay (day care centers, mental hospitals, schools, kindergartens).
- changing the public consciousness and social treatment of persons with special needs with a commitment to full realization of their rights and needs.
-Their full inclusion / integration in the social system and treatment of completely equal citizens, who have their rights and obligations.
- Organizing meetings and exchanging opinions and ideas;
- Competing, obtaining and implementing projects in the country and abroad, in the field of activities provided in the statute;
-Organizing education and seminars for the members of the Association, on topics related to the implementation of activities provided by the statute;
-Development of a specific activity, with persons in need of professional assistance, who are listed as special categories of persons in the activities of the Association;
- Realization of activities through volunteer (voluntary) work;
-Organizing specific activities for the implementation of all stated goals.
