We are a private primary school and kindergarten based on the concept and values ​​of free democratic schools. The school's vision is to create conditions for the free growth of individuals and the sustainable development of the community in a safe, open and all set environment. Joint decision-making is based on democratic / sociocratic principles, at the level of individuals it is based on self-management and personal responsibility for oneself with a view to the benefit of the whole community.

We work with children and pupils aged 3 to 15, i.e. with children and pupils of kindergarten and first to ninth grade of primary school. We primarily focus on working with children as part of daily attendance, but we also provide education to children and pupils who are enrolled in our school for individual education within the framework of section 41 of the Education Act. We also run a school club. There are 17 children in the kindergarten, 43 children attend the primary school. There are currently 35 children at home education.

At presence, there is a full age extension of children aged 3-15 at school and they commonly co-exist together there. Our vision in the future comprises high school too and thus an extension to an additional group of young people aged 16-18. Non-hierarchical relationships are based on mutual reverence, respect, cooperation and open communication based on the principles of nonviolent communication using the tools of mediation, facilitation and conflict resolution. By its nature, the school is naturally inclusive and preventive, for example in the field of bullying.

Our school curriculum is primarily focused on developing the competencies and knowledge for the 21st century which will be the living place and space for these children and young people. The main goals of education include self-knowledge and self-acceptance, self-directed education based on intrinsic motivation, development of individual talents and of their future growth with regard to the benefit of society, the environment and sustainability.

We are co-founding members of the Association of Free and Democratic Schools (www.asociacesds.cz). The goal of the asociation is to cooperate, share know-how, develop the education system, democratic society, local communities and their social capital at the national and European level.
