SALT Youth Association is a youth-oriented social initiative since 2011 and in July 2019 it gained association status. We have a large potential of members and followers throughout Turkey. We aim youth to take active roles in the society with the idea of "for the youth with the youth". We voluntarily organize social and cultural activities at local, national and international levels led by our youth workers, volunteers, students, trainers, and project experts who are active in art, media, training and project management. Our target group is socially and economically disadvantaged young people aged 18-35.
We are a member of Youth Organizations Forum (Go-For), Anna Lindh Foundation.
We are also partner of ESN Turkey (Erasmus Student Network) in our country.
We have 10 years experienced staff who have organized more than 30 projects in youth field about non-formal education, social Entrepreneurship/entrepreneurship, media literacy, citizen media (fighting against hate speech), inclusion (refugees, handicapped people, other minorities), human rights education, digital literacy, new media, gamification, game-based learning, social cohesion, youth policies, sustainable development goals (SDG), global goals and climate change.
We organize local, national and international activities like meeting, seminars, workshops and conduct international projects. We share our experiences with local people and decision-makers (local administrators, politicians, etc.).

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
