The Turkish Hearths Association is a non-governmental organization that has the status of "Works for the Public Interest" since 1954. The association was established with the aim of improving national culture, moral and intellectual life, strengthening the national unity, consolidating the social structure and glorifying Turkishness.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, The Turkish Hearths Association carries out activities, examples of which are as follows,:

-Organizes seminars, conferences, panels and various meetings,
-Organizes activities and creates working groups to inform and raise awareness of the society and especially young people. Then strives for the realization of the achieved results.
- Making magazines, books, newspapers, etc. publications; establishing theater and other art societies, preparing thematic and documentary films and other works of art by making use of digital and online tools to serve the purposes.
-It cooperates with public and non-governmental organizations to protect Turkish culture, art and language.
Turkish Hearths Association, one of Turkey's oldest and well-established associations, has 85 branches across the country. It carries out its activities with various commissions, boards and branches established within the headquarters. In this context, the Turkish Hearth has the organization Youth's Branch and Women's Branch.

This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
