SANKO University, founded in Gaziantep in 2013, is a non-profit foundation university. With the mission of being a Center of Excellence, SANKO University brings together gifted young people and valuable academicians; It aims to contribute to science at a universal level. SANKO University; It has adopted the principle of being a university that has assimilated the basic values of the Republic, based on science, advocates justice and equality, continuously improves its quality, ensures continuity, complies with ethical rules, and has a corporate identity. SANKO University, located in one of the most central points of Gaziantep, consists of the central campus, the university main building, and SANKO University Sani Konukoglu Application and Research Hospital. SANKO University aims to raise researchers, productive, innovative, competent and competent individuals in national and international platforms with the understanding of serving people; was established by the Sani Konukoğlu Foundation as a social responsibility project with the law published in the Official Gazette on June 18, 2013, in order to train qualified health professionals of the future, taking into account the needs of the region and the country in the field of health. SANKO University, which started its educational activities in 2014, provides education at associate, undergraduate and graduate levels in 2 campuses as of 2020-2021 academic year. The number of active students in the years 2020-2021 is 1295. The main building of the university is planned to meet the academic and social needs of the students with its physical conditions, technology, academic and administrative staff. Located right next to the main building, it is one of the Sani Konukoğlu Sanko University Practice and Research Hospital, Turkey's best-equipped private hospitals. Specializing in cardiovascular diseases treatment and surgery, the hospital provides services with modern devices and expert staff. The
hospital, which has a construction area of 60.000 m2, has a capacity of 611 beds, 16 operating rooms and an intensive care unit with a capacity of 103 beds. SANKO Holding Honorary President Abdulkadir Konukoğlu was deemed worthy of the “Most Successful Health Entrepreneur of the Year” award by the Hospitalmanager Magazine jury. SANKO University academic, administrative staff and students for social, sports and cultural activities; They can benefit from the SANKO University Culture House and Abdulkadir Konukoğlu Sports and Cultural Center, which are within the body of Private SANKO Schools. Apart from this, many joint connections and projects are carried out with SANKO Holding and other companies. SANKO University Hospital, which started to provide health services in 1996, was named SANKO University Hospital as an affiliate with SANKO University in 2017. Sanko University in the central campus (located at the end), University Hospital, where under one roof in a private hospital in Turkey ranks # 1 with 600 bed capacity. Health services are provided in many areas within the hospital. Thus, SANKO University students do all their practical training in their own hospitals without the need for other hospitals.
