FEVOCAM is the platform of volunteer entities of the Community of Madrid. Founded in 1993, it works mainly to promote and make citizens aware of the need and benefits of voluntary action.

FEVOCAM is currently formby around 76 entities in which volunteer programs are developed to approach different social problems. This organizations represent a coworking through which working groups are promoted whose main objective is to strengthen volunteering in Madrid.

To achieve this aim, we carry out diverse activities such as meetings of volunteers, resolution of possible queries by entities, exchanges of good practices and experiences, training in different subjects for entities and volunteers, etc.

Another main line of action by FEVOCAM is raising awareness of the importance of voluntary action and its positive consequences in the transformation of society. For this, FEVOCAM develops different training on volunteering in various schools of different ages and characteristics. Likewise, through these trainings, FEVOCAM makes available to potential volunteers the necessary resources and information to start developing volunteer activities.

On the other hand, FEVOCAM holds periodic meetings with different political leaders of the Community of Madrid with the aim of maintaining good institutional relations that also help improve volunteering.
