FICE Spain, founded in 2010, is the Spanish section of the International Federation of Educative Communities. We assume the objectives and values of FICE International (International Federation of Educational Communities), which has operated in more than 35 countries since 1948 to defend the rights of the children.

FICE Spain is a network of non-profit organizations that aim to improve the quality of life for children at risk and their families by promoting models of family support, community based care and the quality of residential care. FICE Spain is a federation open to all entities based in Spain that work towards ensuring comprehensive care for children and young people in social risk.Our target group are children at risk and their families in diferent regions of Spain as Madrid, Castilla la Mancha, Andalucía, Baleares, Canarias, País Vasco, Galicia and Aragón.

The activities of FICE Spain are focused in the improvement of the quality of life for children at risk and their families by promoting models of family support, community based care and the quality of residential care. The mission of our activities are:

-To develop community based services in each territory of the member organizations.
-To be the network of reference in Europe of organizations working with children at social risk and exclusion in Spain.
-To develop and test a guide on the quality of residential care addressed to children and youth
