Regain, founded in 2017, is a non profit association located at La Borie Noble , an ecovillage in a rural area of the South of France, administered by a steering committee of ten people in a collegiate structure, living together and following the Gandhian principles of non-violence and self sufficiency. Our mission is to raise active and responsible involvement of youth in a social, cultural and sustainable life.
It is a place of ecological, supportive and educational character that brings together people from different cultures and backgrounds, to share a lifestyle which has a low impact on nature. Regain hosts young adults to develop new skills and therefore improve their personal, educational and professional capabilities, helping others with meaningful projects .
Regain benefits from cooperation with local communities by participating and organising in eco-festivals, concerts , workshops, seminars , training, emphasising the potential of rural areas and resources to deliver on a wide range of economic, social, and environmental challenges .
We use innovative solutions and we rely on a participatory approach to improve resilience, building on local strengths and opportunities.
