Opis organizacije

The association "Prospero" is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2003, in response to unemployment and the disadvantaged position in society. The association is independent, voluntary, and interest-based, free from government influence, political parties, religious communities, and the like. Its activities are based on the principles of equality, solidarity, and humanity, as well as the principles of democratic structure, public awareness, and free participation in public life.

Through the association, we raise awareness among the public and institutions about women's human rights, the need for their employment and economic empowerment through education and requalification. We also care for the dignity and rights of the poor and socially excluded groups.

The goals of the association are:

Empowering women through self-employment and gaining control over their own lives.
Improving the position of women and building civil society through counseling and education.
Enhancing gender relations, psychosocial and economic status of women and youth through projects aimed at women and young people of different ethnic and social backgrounds, as well as the general public through educational initiatives.
Promoting sustainable development, social cohesion, and eco-social development of the community.
