Opis organizacije

V High School. A. Mickiewicza belongs to the most renowned secondary schools in Częstochowa. The school was among the top 1000 high schools in Poland ("Bronze Shield" in the "Perspektyw" ranking). In addition to education, our mission is to prepare young people for adult life, emphasizing social engagement, digital technology, ecology and shaping attitudes based on ethics, tolerance and patriotism. The school participates in projects that go beyond the traditional educational framework. We actively participate in voluntary activities, cooperating with various social organizations. The school implements many projects within the framework of the European programmes Comenius, Erasmus+, Power (many visits of our youth and teaching staff to EU countries and hosting project participants from other countries in our doors). These projects are mainly aimed at developing environmental awareness, improving language skills and using ICT tools. Since 2021, we have also participated in EC solidarity projects promoting ecology in the Czestochowa region. Within the framework of the project, various actions took place, also outside the school, addressed both to primary and secondary school students, preschoolers and seniors. We would also like to take account of these diverse groups in future volunteering activities, while developing the social competences of young people.
