Organizacijos aprašas

Center for Culture and Education Sonta is a non-profit and non-governmental organization that encourages cooperation between young people aged 15 to 30 and youth workers. The organization is located in the village of Sonta, which borders Croatia. We carry out activities both locally and nationally. The goal of the organization is to create a better community through the creation of cultural and educational programs for children, youth, and the local population as well as advocacy for their better position in rural areas communities. The main topics of our activities are:
- Non-formal education
- Volunteerism
- Interculturality, human rights, and inclusion
- Youth work
- The theater
- Rural development and community development
During the year, activities are carried out in the Sonta Youth Club, which is part of the Center for Culture and Education Sonta, Cultural Center in Sonta and Sonta Coliving.

The main programs we implement are:
- Volunteer Program
- Drama studio
The target groups are young people from 15 to 30 to who are offered various activities that include mostly local volunteering and non-formal education workshops. The organization is a full member of the NAPOR (National association of youth work practitioners) network in Serbia.
