Descrierea organizației

Theatre Frankfurt/Theater im Schuppen e.V. has been enlivening the cultural scene in the city of Frankfurt (Oder) since 1990. We are a non-profit organisation and have financed ourselves exclusively from our own funds, donations, membership fees and by supporting individual projects since the beginning of our existence. We have been a recognised youth welfare organisation since 2009 and work closely with the Drama School for Body and Education, which is also located in our building. We use theatre and its methods/techniques to bring people together and bring them into dynamic processes. We have international links with many other companies and maintain a lively exchange with them. Every year, we organise an inclusive, international theatre festival in our city. Working with young people, senior citizens and people with disabilities has always been an important cornerstone of our organisation.
