AIMS
La Tchicass has as its main aim to prevent, promote, create, organise and support any social and cultural initiative giving the local population access to tools favoring its social and cultural autonomy, while respect the people and communities' autonomy. There is specific attention give to the needs of the migrant population as well as the local disadvantaged one.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
The organisation has three different focuses: the homework school for kids; homework school and specific school support for teenagers; literacy and french classes for adults.
Project with the kids: homework support, group projects, artistic and discovery workshops, cultural excursions, sport activities, holidays activities...
Project with the teenagers: homework support, french classes, artistic and discovery workshops, cultural excursions, sport activities, holidays activities...
Project with adults: literacy and french classes, inclusion workshops, group projects, cultural excursions...

TARGET GROUPS
Generally speaking, the target group of La Tchicass are people from the Outremeuse neighborhood and surroundings, facing difficulties, whichever these are. However a huge majority of La Tchicass public has a migrant background.
For one project to the next, the age range is quite different.

The project with the kids welcomes children from 5 to 12 years old
The project with the teenagers welcomes young people from 13 until 18 years old
While the project with the adults welcomes people from 18+
