AEGEE-Bakı (European Students’ Forum – Baku) is a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit youth organization based in Azerbaijan. Founded in 2004 and officially registered in 2007, it is part of the wider AEGEE-Europe network, one of the largest interdisciplinary student organizations in Europe, promoting a unified, democratic, and diverse Europe.

Our main mission is to empower young people in Azerbaijan to become active and responsible citizens. AEGEE-Bakı provides non-formal education opportunities and intercultural experiences through local and international projects, cultural exchange programs, thematic discussions, and youth mobility activities. We aim to strengthen European integration and youth participation by focusing on key topics such as human rights, leadership, environmental awareness, diversity, and inclusion.

Our target group includes young people aged 18 to 30, particularly students and early-career professionals from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. We place a strong emphasis on inclusion, and many of our activities are designed to reach youth with fewer opportunities, including those from rural areas and underrepresented communities.
