Batman Governorship Project Office (BVPO) is a public body established in 2007 under the Governorship of Batman, Türkiye. Its main aim is to support, coordinate and strengthen the capacity of local public institutions, NGOs and youth groups in developing and implementing national and international projects. BVPO provides technical and administrative assistance in project design, management, partner search, implementation and reporting. It also organises trainings, workshops, seminars and awareness events on key European priorities such as inclusion and diversity, youth participation, digital transformation, cultural heritage, environmental protection and climate action. As an official Eurodesk Local Multipliers contact point, BVPO regularly informs and guides young people about European opportunities, encouraging their active participation in international mobility programmes. Its main target groups are young people especially those with fewer opportunities as well as local NGOs, public institutions and youth workers who contribute to the social, cultural and economic development of the region.
