ACIJA is a one spot venue for youth on a wide range of topics such as, education, health and mental health, job discovery and career guidance, education, local community life, active citizenship international mobility, access to social rights, among others. Our organisation aims to: - Provide resources and information on education, active citizenship, and health; - Promote these issues; and - Support and provide guidance to individuals. Our main activities consist of: - Acting as a resource centre and provide in-person information, as well as online; - Raise awareness on various issues through projects, workshops, and conferences; - Accompany on career guidance, community projects, and individual projects. Our target groups are mostly youth between 12 and 30. However, as we are on rural territory, we also welcome people outside of that age group. We can also refer to other partner organisations if we can’t directly help the person. As we are open to everyone, we are looking to also target youth who face disability, health problems, educational difficulties, cultural differences, economic obstacles, social obstacles or geographic obstacles. The latter is of special importance to us since we are located in a rural area an that mobility is a chore issue our youth are facing.
