Projekta apraksts

The „Ivy Flower” Foundation was estabilished in April 1997. Its main aim, is to help those young mothers with their infants, who have no family support. The foundation keeps up a welfare institute: the „Ivy Flower” Mother’s Home, which opened its gates on the 1st of March, in 1998. The „ Ivy Flower” Mother’s Home works on a national level, as temporary home, shelter for families, but only for women and their child or children. They can offer 34 placements, in 11 separated bedrooms at the same time. The bedrooms vary in size and facilities. Some of them are for mothers with 2-3 or more children, some are only for infants and their mother. The building itself is the property of the municipality, but we are free of charge to enter, to host and organize different kind of events, activities and workshops for the families living inside.
