Politik zum Anfassen e.V. is a non-profit association, which develops and carries out political education and media projects for school classes and adults as an event agency for fun and positive experiences of democracy in the fields of education, culture, music, journalism, urban development and more. It creates simulation games, movies, surveys, interactive exhibitions or more and combines democratic participation of young people and education to promote active citizenship throughout Germany with fun and impact. Working at Politik zum Anfassen will give you a valuable insight into the running of an event agency and into local political work. Tasks for volunteers may include preparation of projects, contact with project partners in schools and politics and, together with students, make a photo selection and create a magazine and films.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
Accomodation is provided. You will live in your own room in a shared apartment probably. You will be provided with a monthly ticket for local public transport and with the BahnCard25 - this will reduce the ticket prices for most train tickets in Germany by 25%. You will receive a monthly payment for grocery shopping.
Mācības pasākuma laikā
The volunteers will be engaged in all fields of the organisations. Tasks they perform may include: preparation of projects, structuring of project workflows, contact with project partners in schools and politics, work with volunteers, make a photo selection and create a magazine and films. The volunteers gain a valuable insight in local politics.

You should be motivated, interested and love to work with students (pupils) and to creatively deal with (new) media.
