EVS in Poland for EU countries - work in a therapy centre

The volunteers will assist full-time employees of the Workshop Therapy Centre in working with people with disabilities. The WTP “Wiatrak” has six workshops: household, carpentry, art and handicrafts, tailoring, and gardening. Volunteers will assist people with disabilities in their daily work and rehabilitation, as well as trips and excursions. The volunteer will be able to pursue their own ideas. It will also be able to develop in working with various local communities. Tasks belonging to the volunteer: - Help therapists in their daily work in the studios; - Support during walks and tours, - Running games of their own countries, - Preparation of the culture their own countries, - Promotion of volunteering and "Erasmus+" at different events. The volunteers will not work more than 7 hours a day. Their working schedule will be from Monday to Friday within 08:00 - 15:00.
Profil účastníka
We would like to host 4 volunteer, preferably from Latvia, Romania and Portugal, but we are open to volunteers from other EU countries. The volunteer could do EVS on dates: 01/09/2015 – 31/05/2016 (9 months), or 01/09/2015 – 31/08/2016 (12 months) but we are flexible for shifting the dates. Volunteers are expected be open and eager to prepare workshops and organize them for disabled people; they need to be patient, creative, open, reliable and punctual.
