Il Casone is a project hosting 2 volunteers from different countries for 8 months. The Project is a hosting home to promote environmental education & volunteering. The house generally hosts groups of children and students for two weeks activities. During their EVS the volunteer will learn to ● manage an organization and its public relations by doing office activities, taking care of communication with the public and the mailing activities; ● plan, organize and lead educational workshops with different types of targets (children, young people, adults); ● coordinate & logistically support hosting activities of groups in the building; ● plan & organize cultural events in the local community; ● manage & take care of the organic garden to do educational activities and eat organic&seasonal food; ● do research and interact with local actors & stakeholders to promote the project Aniene Valley in cooperation with the Municipality of Anticoli Corrado and the Natural Park.

Accommodation "Il Casone", a structure at the foot of the hill of Anticoli Corrado. It’s composed by 6 bedrooms (from 2 to 5 beds for room), large common spaces & a large garde Transport: The Casone is located in Anticoli Corrado. To attend the voluntary service, volunteers use public transport or a private car if they wish to bring theirs. They can also walk or cycle. A bike is provided for each volunteer. Activity place: The activity is divided between 3areas: the Municipality of Anticoli Corrado, the Casone (building where the volunteers live) and the Aniene Valley (natural park)

The project is addressed to all youth who would like to deal with and experience the following issues: environmental education, to reduce, reuse and recycle waste, environmental protection, urban and environmental regeneration, active promotion and protection of common and public heritage, active participation in society. The volunteer will be selected considering their motivation and interest in the project. Driving license required.
