Let’s volunteer in a bilingual Province!

Do you like speaking and interacting with elderly people? We are looking for 2 volunteers to do her EVS in a nursing home in the bilingual province of Bolzano, in northern Italy in the middle of the mountains. During the service you will implement recreational and cultural activities to improve the well-being of old people. These persons may have some dementia as alzheimer. What they real need is a person interacting with us even if they have difficulties to speak, a person offering a smile :).

Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport

You will get free accommodation for the whole duration of your voluntary service. You will live in a single room with shared bathroom, laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen with cooking facilities. You will receive food allowance and a transportation card so that you can travel in the whole Province of Altro Adige.

You will have the opportunity to meet a group of 20 EVS volunteers (some of them in Trentino and some in Bolzano) and to attend an italian language course.

Profil tal-voluntier

The volunteer should not have any specific abilities or cv. We are looking for motivated volunteers who really want to work with elderly people, who are motivated for such activities as working with old people is not very easy. This person should be patient and have positive qualities necessary to collaborate with old people. Moreover, they should be interested in learning italian.
