EKOenergy for Germany and Italy

Hankkeen kuvaus

EKOenergy is an international not-for-profit ecolabel for sustainable renewable energy. We welcome new 3 EVS volunteers to help us promote renewable energy in Germany and Italy: setting up climate change campaigns, contact energy consumers, designing leaflets... Other tasks include general support of the EKOenergy secretariat, social media...
All tasks happen from our office in Helsinki (The office is hosted by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, Suomen luonnonsuojeluliitto). The volunteers will cooperate with about 10 other volunteers, from 10 countries.

Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset

Accommodation: volunteers get a private room in an apartment shared with students. 

Volunteers also get money to buy food, a bus ticket for transportation within Helsinki, language course, health insurance and EVS pocket money. 
 Travel: we pay the travel from your home country to Finland (and return) Requirements: Enthusiastic, proactive, team players who are eager to learn, help and develop. Interest in the environment and renewable energy is essential.

Millaisia osallistujia haetaan

We are looking for 3 volunteers, 1 from ITALY and 2 from GERMANY. (We have approved projects with sending organisations from these countries.) The volunteers will be part of the young and dynamic EKOenergy team. They should be eager and enthusiastic to promote nature-friendly renewable energy. We are looking for team players, interested in initiating and managing own activities and sub-projects.

Examples of some of the activities in which the volunteer will be involved:

• marketing and communication about the EKOenergy ecolabel, through social media, emailing...

• contacting stakeholders in the environmental and electricity sectors

• administrative work in the Secretariat e.g. updating website and social media accounts

• sharing ideas and developing new projects to promote EKOenergy.
There is freedom to develop your own ideas and sub-projects (within the EKOenergy framework). Käännä
