Hankkeen kuvaus

Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı (TOG) is established in December 2002 as a youth NGO. TOG network includes over 120 youth student clubs in the universities and more than 35000 volunteers all over Turkey. The volunteers are mostly university students between the ages of 17-30. Social responsibility, social awareness and advocacy projects are implemented by young volunteers organized as student clubs in the universities of Turkey. All these projects are mainly planned and run by young community volunteers. TOG has 3 Youth Center in Samsun, Diyarbakır and Kırıkhan and 3 Coordination Centers in Ankara, İzmir and Diyarbakır. EVS volunteer will be hosted in Samsun, İğne Deliği (Pinhole) Youth Center located in Atakum in Samsun.

Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset

The volunteer will receive money monthly for local transportation and food expenses. The money will be given with Turkish liras (according to the rate fixed on that the project contract has signed) Volunteers will get money with pocket money on the 1st of each month from TOG office. The accommodation will be rented and arranged to ease the use of transportation for getting to the office either through one underground station. Accommodation will be with the needed practicalities and facilities: Internet connection, convenient and own rooms, close by location, safe district.

the volunteer will receive intercultural learning training course. Optional: Peer to peer trainings on subjects such as volunteerism, project management, human rights, social rights, reproductive health and organizational management

Millaisia osallistujia haetaan

We are looking for young people interested or experienced in working with youngsters. Some artistic skills (using of photography, video, and designprograms) and workshop experiences would be a plus. Volunteer's task will be: Helping the daily tasks of Youth Centre; Helping to promote European Voluntary Service and European Youth Programme among young local volunteers; Writing regularly about events or workshops at the blog of the youth center; Photo & video taking of volunteering events; Organizing weekly workshops that are about interest areas of the EVS volunteer;
