Promoting renewable energy in Spanish and French

We are hosted by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation and are active in over 40 countries. Early 2019, we have 2 European Solidaridy Corps vacancies. The volunteers will help us promote renewable energy in French-speaking and Spanish-Speaking countries: setting up climate change campaigns, contacting energy consumers, writing articles,... Other tasks include general support of the EKOenergy secretariat, social media...
 We are looking for long-term volunteers, preferably 10 to 12 months. 1 from Spain and 1 from France (preferably starting in January or Februrary 2019) All tasks happen from our office in Helsinki.

Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz

Accommodation: volunteers get a private room in an apartment shared with students. 

Volunteers also get money to buy food, a bus ticket for transportation within Helsinki, language course, health insurance and EVS pocket money. 
 Travel: we pay the travel from your home country to Finland (and return)

- Pre-arrival training by the partner organisation in the country of origin 
- On arrival training organised by the Finnish National Agency - Regular trainings by EKOenergy's staff + participation in international webinars about climate change, climate policy, CSR and energy policiy

The volunteers will be part of the young and dynamic EKOenergy team. The volunteers should be eager to promote nature-friendly renewable energy. We are looking for team players, interested in communication and networking + willling to initiate and manage own sub-projects.
