The third dialogue meeting of Commissioner Christophe Hansen aims to get participants’ views to inform the implementation of the EU Livestock Strategy, reflecting different Member State realities, with a specific focus on Ireland. The aim of the discussion will be to explore:
- the key challenges and opportunities for young livestock farmers and for generational renewal in the sector, also in view of different livestock sub sectors,
- the role of innovation, digitalisation, and sustainability,
- and identify what specific solutions at EU and national level are effective.
